House. C17 with C18 and C19 alterations and additions. Timber framed
with brick infill, partly rebuilt and extended in brick. Roughly L-shaped
in plan, originally a 2-framed bay range aligned north-east/south-west
facing north-west, a mid-C19 extension wing was added to the north-east
end of the range and aligned north-west/south-east, a second C19 extension
wing aligned north-west/south-east projects north-east from the south-east
end of the main range. One storey and attic, the left hand bay of the main
range has 2 square panels to the eaves and straight braces, the right hand
bay has a brick storey band; 1:2:1 bays, mainly C19 casements with
segmental heads, gabled dormers to main range and left hand return of
right hand wing; door to left of main range with gabled porch, large
garage doors to left hand return of right hand wing. Interior: chamfered
and stopped ceiling beams, large open fireplace to south-east bay of main
range, exposed queen strut roof truss.
