Farmhouse. C18. Red brick formerly limewashed. Steeply-pitched black glazed
pantile roof. Two storeys and attics, L-shaped plan. Facade of five bays,
symmetrical: sashes with glazing bars, gauged brick arches over openings.
Central doorway, Doric doorcase with fluted pilasters and lead covered canopy;
six-panel door with two upper panels glazed. Wooden modillion eaves cornice.
Two gabled dormers with 3-light casements. Dutch gables with internal
panelled chimney stacks. Platbands at gable bases. 2 1/2 storey range to north,
four windows wide; 4-light casements with segmental heads. End bay has C20
casement, square-headed, above C20 garage door. 6-panel door off-centre in
segmental-headed opening. Central gabled dormer. Parapeted north gable with
internal chimney stack. Modillion eaves cornice. Catslide roof over lean-to's
in north-west angle.
