Former use unknown now shop. C17 with C18 and C20 alterations. Painted
brick at first floor. Pantile roof. 2 storeys plus attic. 6 closely
spaced first floor wimdows. C20 glazed shopfront. 5-panel door at extreme
left with moulded surround and 4-centre spandrels with the date 1612 and
initials TFS. Early C18 sash windows at first floor with glazing bars.
Box cornice. 3 gable dormers with casement windows. 2 back blocks with
closely related date sequence: C1620 to the north and C1650 to the south.
TFS for Thomas Shipdown who was Mayor in 1631.
