Farmhouse. Early C19. Squared coursed limestone and brick with slate roof.
Originally L-shape plan. Main front is a 3-window range. Central 6-panel door,
with rectangular fanlight, is under gauged stone head with keyblock. Sash
windows with glazing bars are also under gauged stone heads with keyblocks.
Shallow gabled roof with ashlar gable parapets and brick stacks at ends. Rear
wing has mid C19 stone bay window. Mid C19 brick extension is attached to rear.
Interior: entrance hall has early C19 staircase with quarter landings and stick
balustrade. Drawn by George Clarke 1847.
