Farmhouse, now house. Probably early C18. Limestone ashlar with ironstone
dressings and slate roof. Originally 2-unit plan. 2 storeys with attic; 3-window
range. Central C20 door under flat arch with keyblock. C19 and C20 casements
with wood mullions and transoms under flat arch heads with keyblocks. Ironstone
quoins and string course linking ground floor keyblocks. Moulded stone cornice
with inscription:"Here ended the fire after spreading 214 yards 1739". Pair of
flat top roof dormers. Ashlar gable parapets and kneelers and stone stacks at
ends. Side gables are ironstone. Interior has spine beams and open fireplace
with bressumer in room to right of entrance. C19 extensions to rear.
