Shown as Nos 67 and 69 on 0.S. Map.
Two or three houses, now house and office. Late C17, remodelled late C18 and
early C20. Regular coursed ironstone with slate roof. 2 storeys; 4-window range
of early C20 casements under wood lintels. C20 doors in left and right, Brick
stacks at ridge and end. Left gable has evidence of C17 building. Property is
mentioned in will of 1685. Licensed as Royal 0ak public house from mid C19 to
1938.
