House. Probably C17. Coursed stone. Front span pantiled, rear span Welsh
slate roof. Double span roof. 2 storeys. 2 wide bays with central C20 door
in plain surround. Ground floor windows are late C19 sashes in early C19
openings with projecting sills and tooled and margined ashlar lintels. Small
1st floor windows are late C19 sashes in original openings. Blocked doorway
under relieving arch on left return. Rear span raised to 2 storeys from older
outshut in early C19. Steeply pitched gabled front span has two C19 brick end
stacks. Rear span has brick lateral stack.
The house was probably of bastle type but with thinner walls and later.
