II
House. Early C19. Squared sandstone with ashlar dressings. Stone-tiled roof
and dressed stone chimney stacks. 3-bay house built along bankside: 3 storeys
at left; 2 storeys at right. Quoins and lintel band. Central 4-panel door in
surround with alternating jambs and corniced lintel. Replaced 12-pane sashes
in raised tooled surrounds. Low-pitched hipped roof. 2 lateral stacks on rear.
Set-back, 2-storey bay at right under hipped roof. Single-storey rendered wing,
at right-angles on front of left bay, is not of special interest.
