Range of farmbuildings incorporating barn, byre and smithy, now storage. Late
C18-early C19 of several builds. Coursed rubble with dressings; purple slate
roof and dressed stone chimney. Single-storey linear range: barn at left;
combined byre and smithy at right. Taller barn has breathers and 3 chamfered
doorways with alternating jambs and boarded doors; roof has coped gables. Byre
has 2 boarded doors in similar surrounds; smithy at right has tooled quoins, 2
segmental archways (one partly blocked with casement inserted); roof with lower
eaves has coped gables and right end stack. C20 barn on rear of byre and smithy
is not of special interest. Included for group value.
