Farmhouse. Early C17 with C19 alterations. Addition to right of 1960s.
Timber-framed, weatherboarded, with plain tile roof. C17 section with short
C19 addition to right and C20 addition to right of that. 2 storeys and garret
on brick plinth. Roof half-hipped to left, with half-hip Jettied out to form
hoist hood or shelter. Multiple brick ridge stack to centre of C17 section
and brick stack to right end of C19 section. Irregular fenestration of 5
windows> two 3-light ovolo-moulded mullion windows to C17 section, two 2-
light casements to C19 section and one 3-light casement to C20 addition.
3-light multi-pane casement to ground floor of C17 section. Weatherboarded
lean-to to left end. Door in single-storey brick addition to rear. Interior:
exposed framing to C17 section. Shaped bracket to end of axial beam of right
ground-floor room. Fireplace in same room has chamfer-stopped bressumer and
brick in English bond. Newel staircase behind stack. Clasped purlin roof
with re-used concave windbraces.
