Farmhouse, now 2 dwellings. Early C17, extended early C18 and altered C20.
Coursed squared marlstone with wooden lintels; artificial stone-slate roof with
brick stacks. 2-unit through-passage plan extended to L plan. 2 storeys plus
attic. Front, which has the short wing projecting on the right, has a doorway
and renewed casements to left in a former single-storey bay, raised to 2
storeys, but the central section retains ovolo-moulded wood-mullioned windows,
of 4 lights at first floor and of 6 lights with a king mullion at ground floor;
main entrance in the angle of ranges is now altered and has a C20 porch.
Steep-pitched roof has C20 gable parapets and roof dormers. Right end wall of
main range shows an earlier gable line. Interior not inspected but noted as
having a large open fireplace and chamfered spine and lateral beams.
