Public house, Late Cl7 with later alterations. Finely jointed coursed, squared
ironstone. Steeply pitched slate roof. Stone coped gables with moulded kneelers.
Brick shafts on stone end stacks. 3-unit plan with extension to rear forming
L-plan. 2 storeys plus attic. 3-window range. Two entrances have C20 doors and
wood lintels. Ground floor has a C20 window, a 3-light metal casement in wood
trade and a C20 bay window. First floor has a renewed 2-light casement in wood
frame and 2-light wood mullioned and transomed windows with small opening
casements. Wood lintels throughout. Gabled dormer. Rear single-storey extension.
Slate roof. Brick shaft on stone base. Semi-circular staircase projection.
Interior not inspected.
