House. Early and late C17. Timber framing (plastered) and colourwashed brick;
thatched roof with brick stacks. 4-unit plan. One storey plus attics. Front has
door with C20 porch to right of centre with small 2-light casement to right. To
left the 2 wider timber-framed bays have large C20 casements at ground floor.
Three half dormers. Half-hipped roof has stack at rear of left bay, with early
stone and brick base, and another stack between the two builds. Left gable wall
rebuilt in brick with tile-hung gable. Right gable timber framed. Rear concealed
by large C20 wing, now separate dwelling (Albury Grange), and later outshut.
Interior: Exposed framing at first floor; stair beside central stack;
first-floor fireplace with early egg and dart surround; clasped purlin roof with
straight windbraces.
