GV II*

House. Early C18. English bond grey brick with red brick quoins and dressings;
chalk rubble left side wall. Welsh slate roof; brick stacks. Double-depth plan.
Early Georgian style. 2 storeys; 5-window range. Fine stone doorcase with fluted
pilasters and segmental pediment to C20 door. Gauged brick round arch to sash
above door; gauged brick flat arches over sashes. Gauged brick string course and
eaves band beneath parapet. Gabled roof; symmetrical end stacks. C20 entrance in
right side wall. Early C18 two-storey wing to rear left, of chalk rubble with
brick quoins and dressings and gabled C20 tile roof; 2-light cross window to
left. 2-storey rear right wing: rendered with gabled Welsh slate roof and right
lateral stack. Rear and interior not inspected but likely to be of interest.
