Farmhouse, now disused. Mid-C18 with later additions and alterations. Roughly
coursed marlstone rubble; concrete tile roof to main part, pantiles to 3 lower
sections, middle of which has coped verges to left gable end. 2 storeys with
gable-lit attic to left gable end. 2 storeys with gable-lit attic to main part.
This has small casements with wood lintels to left and right of central boarded
door under C20 gabled timber porch all leaded except lower left. Integral end
stacks, right with moulded dripstone and capping, left extended down to lower
range. This has two C19 leaded casements directly below eaves, small
segmental-headed casement to left of central segmental-headed boarded door and
C20 segmental-headed casement to right in position of infilled doorway. Lower
range (hay-loft) attached to left has segmental-headed window to front; lower
range attached to left of that has cart shelter to rear. C19 lean-to attached to
right gable end of main range has 2-light leaded casement to front. Interior.
Inspection not possible at time of resurvey (August 1987) but likely to be of
interest.
