Farmhouse. Late C16/early C17, re-modelled C18 with later additions
and alterations. Timber framed now largely re-built in uncoursed limestone
rubble (painted), graded slate roof. 2-cell plan with central passage.
One storey and attic; framing: fragmentary square panelling with brick
infill and short straight tension brace exposed to part of back wall;
3-light C19 casements, one to left and one to right of roughly central
gabled brick porch over boarded door, C20 flat-roofed dormers to left
and right; massive external end stack to left with top truncated and
re-built in late C20. Low stone outshut to rear. Interior: not inspected
but likely to be of interest.
