17/95 The George Inn

- II

Public House. Late C17 with C19 alterations. Squared coursed lias, 3-unit
plan with cross wing to left. 2-storey, 3-window range. 3 sashes at ground
floor with glazing bars, left hand and having wood lintel, 2 at centre have
flat arches. 2-light stone mullion window with leaded lights at far
right. 3 wood casements under wood lintels at first floor. Ashlar parapets
and kneelers to gables. Brick stacks at ridge and end. Single light window
with moulded stone surround; glazed gallery with leaded lights both to rear.
