Small country house, latterly hospital, now disused. Rendered brick (lined as ashlar), painted brick to side. Two-span slate roof. Three storeys and attic over basement to front and two storeys to rear.

North-east (entrance) front: plinth, first floor cill band, frieze and moulded cornice above first floor, and eaves band to deep eaves. External brick end stack, brick ridge stack off-centre to left, two brick ridge stacks to right-hand return and brick ridge stack to rear range. 3:1:3 bays; glazing bar sashes, central first-floor window with moulded architrave. Pair of full-height canted bays with semi-conical roofs, triple sashes to ground and first floors divided by panelled mullions and tripartite sashes to second floor also with panelled mullions. Central three bay porch with pilasters, full entablature and blocking course, pair of narrow eight-pane sashes and central pair of two-panelled doors (lower panels beaded flush) with rectangular overlight.

South-west (garden) front: wide pilaster strips at ends, plinth, first-floor cill band, and eaves band. Six bays; glazing bar sashes with moulded architraves; doorway in second bay from left. Left-hand return front of one bay, with first floor blind window. One storey and attic and two storey service wing to south-east with plinth, pilaster strips, first floor cill band, eaves band and brick ridge stacks. Two bays to north-east; glazing bar sashes with moulded architraves.

Interior not inspected but known to survive from photographs (N.M.R.) Entrance hall with three bay Ionic screen consisting of unfluted columns and antae supporting frieze. Fine two-flight square-well staircase behind with landing, open string, slim turned balusters, wreathed foot newel and swept handrail. N.M.R.
