Farmhouse. Probably late C18 or early C19 but possibly incorporating
parts of an earlier house, later additions and alterations. Red brick,
plain tile roof with raised verges to gabled range on left. 2 storeys
with attic to gabled range, dentilled eaves cornice; main range has 3-
light late C19 casements with segmental heads to left and right of
central entrance (late C20 door under lean-to brick porch) and the gabled
range has one window on each floor - late C20 top-light casements to first
floor and attic with cross-paned sash to ground floor, all with segmental
heads; prominent ridge stack to left of main range and end stack to right.
A demolished 2-storey service block attached to right (roof-line still
visible against right gable end) is said to have had an open cruck truss.
