Cottage. Mid-Cl7 with later additions and alterations. Timber framed
with painted brick infill on rendered brick plinth; straw thatch roof.
2-cell plan. One storey and attic. Framing: rectangular panels, 2
from cill to wall-plate with short straight braces from wall posts to
wall-plate. Collar and tie beam end trusses with long straight tension
braces, projecting single-purlin ends and V-struts from collars. C20
casements to left and right of boarded door to left of centre with timber
framed gabled eaves dormer to centre. Prominent integral red brick end
stack to left with toothed band to top of base. Brick lean-to to left
gable end painted black and white in imitation of timber frame and C20
brick lean-to to rear on right.
