shippon attached to Farmhouse.

GV II

Range of farmbuildings, comprising threshing barn, with attached shelter sheds and
stables with granary over. Mid C19. Morte slates with slate roofs, gabled upper
end to barn, half-hipped at lower end, and gable ends to granary and stables.
Single Roman clay tiled roof to the lower shelter sheds. Barn with shelter shed
extending from right end and shelter shed with loft over extending at right angles
to rear of barn. Granary above stables of rectangular plan. Barn has stone rubble
porch without roof on west side flanking double doors with cambered arch. Cattle
shelter with loft over has 2 partially blocked arched opening on south side with
loft door above. Granary and stables have later external stone steps on west side
to loft door. Flat brick arched openings below to each side of doorway with slate
roofed porch. Window openings in each floor and door to right at north gable end.
Triangular owl hole at south gable end. Included for group value.
