Small cottage. C18 or C19. Painted brickwork, some remnants of
timber-frame, tile roof. The building spans the alley which
connects to Church Street through No.83 (qv), and has a small
one-storey wing added. 2 storeys, 2-windowed. 2-light C19
casements with horizontal bars at first floor above 3-light at
ground floor. C20 door in return wing. Back has 2- and 1-light
C19 casements at eaves level. INTERIOR not inspected.
A characteristic minor building occupying the inner part of a
burgage plot.
