House now divided. Dated 1703 with early C18 addition to rear. Hammer dressed
stone, rendered to rear. Quoins. Stone slate roof (bitumen covered). Hollow
chamfered gable copings on out kneelers. Central stone stack. Two storeys.
Double pile. Large central doorway with very deep lintel with inscription
I B 1703. Hood mould over continues to both sides as drip moulding. Enlarged
windows to left and right, formerly 3-light double chamfered windows. Further
to left, blocked 2-light window and C19 doorway. To 1st floor two 4-light
windows and central 3-light window, all double chamfered and with all but one
mullion removed. The addition to rear has two 4-light double chamfered windows
and central single light, to 1st floor. Altered ground floor.
