Dovecote. Early/Mid C14 (Buildings of England); lantern probably C17 (VCH).
Rendered limestone with old tile roof. Circular plan. Small low entrance has
ogee arch and plank door. Louvred lantern and 2 louvred dormers with bird
openings. Conical roof. Interior: over 580 nesting holes in 17 tiers. Queen post
roof. Retains its potence, a rare surviving feature. Said to be the only relic
of a moated grange which belonged to the Abbey of Evesham.
