House. Early C18 with mid C19 alterations. Timber framed with brick
infill and slate roof (originally thatched). Two storeys.
Baffle-entry plan. Entrance front: Stone plinth. Two bays
symmetrically disposed. Mid C19 simulated close-studded
timber-framing with angle braces to left and right and six to the
centre. Tension bracing to left and right with 4 to either side of
the central doorway. Three-light casement windows to either side and
two 2-light gabled semi-dormer windows to the first floor. Central
ridge chimney stack. Right hand gable end has 6 x 3 cells of small
framing with uprights and a V-strut to the gable. The left hand gable
end is rendered and has a 3-light casement window to the ground floor
and a 2-light window to the first floor with timbered gable above.
