Originally a house, just vacated as school at time of survey.
Original part a Gothick villa of 1796 extended to right in mid
C19 and with C20 classroom extension to right, not of special
interest. Stuccoed with tiled roof. 2 storey and attics, 5
windows to main front with irregular fenestration. Left side
of 1796 portion has 2 thin octagonal turrets. Pointed Gothick
windows between in gable with bands and hood moulding above
1st floor window. Crenellated parapet to right of this with
1st floor C20 windows, left side lancet and ground floor
4-light splayed bay with crenellated top and Gothick glazing
with modified ogee heads with quatrefoils and stained glass.
Far centred arched doorcase. Original portion ended with
triple diagonally placed stuccoed chimneys tack on to which is
built the mid C19 extension. This has 2 gables with kneelers,
divided by external chimneystack and 2:3 casements or sashes.
Left side elevation has 3 gabled dormers with Gothick windows
and clustered stuccoed diagonal chimneystacks.
Interior has staircase of 1796, slightly curved with 2 turned
balusters to each step and mahogany handrail with carved newel
post. One lst floor front roam has corner cupboards with
serpentine shelves and shell heads, but these are probably
C20.
