GV II
House. c.1835. Flemish bond brick; upper floors have yellow headers. Painted
rendered first floor sill course. Slate roof has deep eaves with paired
modillions; brick end stacks. L-plan, with 2-storey wing on right to rear. Late
Georgian style. 3 storeys; 3-window range. Symmetrical front. Part-glazed
part-moulded 6-panelled door has fanlight with decorative glazing. Painted
moulded rendered doorcase of Tuscan half-columns and fluted dosserets with open
pediment. Ground floor has large late C19 rectangular bays with rendered window
surrounds and plate glass tripartite sashes. First floor has tripartite and
central 12-pane sashes. Second floor has 6-pane sashes. Painted rendered
rusticated flat arches with keyblocks; first-floor keyblocks have cornices.
