Dated 1743, possibly incorporating an earlier structure. Brick and sandstone
ashlar front elevation (south) with quoins. Steeply pitched plain tile roof,
hipped at west with gable at rear and with gabled cross-wing at east, forming
U-shaped plan. Two storeys, four bays. Late C19 carved barge boards to gabled
cross-wing. Four-light mullion/transom casements and one pair french windows;
the four openings to ground floor have stone lintels with keyblocks. Two brick
chimney stacks.
