Circa C16 timber-framed cruck cottage encased in brick in C18, with late C19
wing at right-angles to south. The older portion is one storey and attic,
three-window range. Steeply pitched plain tile roof with gabled ends. Two
three-light casements with glazing bars in segmentally arched openings. Steps
up to modern glazed door and modern oriel bow window to right. Two gabled
dormers at eaves with two-light casements. Two brick ridge chimney stacks.
Interior: two pairs of cruck blades and wind bracing between crucks and purlins.
