Good, probably early C17, 2 storey house with heavy square timber framing
practically complete. Extensive restoration which, on the whole, has been
carried out in a satisfactory manner. Front elevation has modern timber
porch and splayed oriel bay; machine tile roof has four flush dormers.
Lower part of the north wall and adjoining garden wall are of sandstone
and appear to be of mediaeval origin. The rear elevation has good gabled
cross wing roofed with old tiles and small satisfactory alterations in
modern brickwork.

Nos 31 to 39 (odd) form a group.
