Two dwellings, originally one building said to be of C14 origin. Present
structure is probably C16 2 storey plus attic building of fairly close
set studding with infilling of modern plaster. Sandstone plinth. Right
hand bay has been partly rebuilt in brickwork on lowest storey. Four identical.
jettied gable heads with carved bressummers and three console brackets
having interesting, crude, carved heads. Modern barge boards and finials.
Modern diamond-shaped leaded lights. Satisfactory facsimile oriel bays
to first floor. No 35 has good early C18 staircase with turned balusters.
Old tiles.
Nos 31 to 39 (odd) form a group.
