Early C19, possibly a refronting of earlier, C18, house. Two storeys, local rubble stone with rusticated quoins to road front. Moulded string over first floor windows. Moulded cornice. Rubble parapet with dressed coping, carried on gable ends. Flanking brick chimneys. Old tile roof. Two ranges of glazing bar sash windows. Recently acquired fibreglass Georgian-style pedimented doorpiece on return to right. Victorian extension to rear.
Dwarf wall in front with arrowhead rails and dograils, gate to right. To west a long rubble wall about 8 feet high about 60 yards long linking with No 195.
