2 storeys, coursed and snecked rubble with dressed stone keys, brick chimneys,
quoins and bands at plinth, cill and lintel levels. Double "T" ridge plan
with central cruciform chimney with dentil cornice. Tiled roof with 3 course
bands of fish scale tiles. 1 range of windows to each house, slightly cambered
arches, 2 light casements, with 3 light square bays on ground floor. 2 gables
to front. Flanking extensions gabled on returns, 1st floor tile hung with
single course colour bands and fish scale tile bands. Scissor braced bargeboards.
Entrances recessed in corners with bracketted wood loggias. Nos 38 and 39
same design, reflected.
