Circa 1830. 2 storey ashlar terrace. Band over 1st floor and 1st floor cill band.
Parapet, ramped over No 45; Nos 52 and 54 at slightly higher level. Roof ridges
gable end to parapet. 2 windows each, late glazed sashes, Nos 48, 49 and 53 altered,
with raised surrounds having rustic voussoirs. Round headed doorways with fanlights
some blind, (Nos 43 and 47-50) Nos 46 and 54 radial fans; Nos 51 and 52 have swagged
shields in fans. Doorways have reeded lintels and impost blocks. This terrace
is set back with long front gardens. Nos 39 and 40, and Nos 44 and 45 are paired.
No 42 has a Fire Insurance Mark (British with lion and shield).
Nos 39 to 54 (consec) form a group.
