ST 9168
(south side)
4/110 No 11
20.12.60
GV II
House, mid C18, possibly refronting earlier building, painted
rubble stone with stone slate roof and east end stack. Two
storeys, double fronted with cyma-moulded 2-light flush mullion
windows, 2 to first floor, one to ground floor left, centre door in
chamfered surround with hood on scroll brackets and plain door to
right to through passage. Flush quoins. Dripcourse over ground
floor interrupted for door hood. Interior not inspected. There is
evidence from discovered cruck-framed houses and the even roof-line
that the south side of High Street may be substantially of one
build in C14 or C15.
