Gatehouse range, converted to stable, C15, altered. Rubble stone
with stone slate roof, coped west gable and stone octagonal spired
cowl. Original range appears to comprise through arch and section
to west. Through-arch has south side double-chamfer arch dying
into imposts. Later raking buttress to right. Section to left has
stepped buttress each side, stable door and window. Added range to
right of arch has stable door and window and one upper window.
North side has plain timber lintel to carriageway, stepped buttress
and one very small chamfered light to right. West gable has small
light at apex.
Interior: roofs replaced and floors removed. One chamfered and
bar-stopped beam against west wall.
Seagry was a grange of Bradenstoke Priory in medieval times.
