A pair of houses. Early C19. White brick and C20 plaintiles.
2 end chimney-stacks.
2 storeys; part with cellar. 4 windows to the upper storey: 2
outer 6-pane sashes in plain reveals and 2 C20 central 4-pane
single casement windows in flush frames. On the ground storey
two 12-pane sash windows with plain reveals and flat brick
arches. Paired 6-panel entrance doors with sunk panels, the
top 2 glazed, in moulded wood architraves with flat cornice
hoods. Both houses have a long C20 rear addition in white
brick.
INTERIOR: cellar below No.59 only. No features prior to the
early C19 inside. No.60 has 2 matching reeded fireplace
surrounds which are probably original.
