House, now divided into 3 flats. C18. Red brick with white
brick dressings; plain parapet with a heavy stucco dentil
cornice. Plaintiled mansard roof.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys, attics and cellar. 5 window range: all
12-pane sashes in plain reveals with projecting stone sills
and flat gauged arches. 4 similar but longer windows to the
ground storey. 3 hipped dormers with moulded wood cornices
have 6-pane sash windows. The central 6-panel door has the top
2 panels glazed and is approached by a flight of stone steps
set within the panelled reveals of the doorcase, which has
panelled pilasters, an open pediment with fret ornament on
enriched console brackets and a fanlight with Baroque
metalwork.
INTERIOR: entrance hall with a good C18 stair: turned
balusters, ramped moulded handrails, open bracketed strings.
