Shop. Early C19. Timber-framed and rendered; slate roof.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys and cellar; on a quadrant corner site. 2
sash windows to the 1st storey in flush cased frames with
glazing bars in the upper sashes only. The ground storey has a
shop front with a continuous cornice and fascia; shop windows
divided into 8 lights by heavy vertical glazing bars. The shop
now extends into part of the adjoining building on the south,
No.2 Guildhall Street, which is not included in the list. No.2
also occupies the room above the shop.
INTERIOR: C19 cellar, brick-lined, with a row of arched
openings on the west side running below the pavement. No
indication of earlier features in remainder of building.
