the ground floor now used as workshops. Probably mid C17th. Rubble with
stone slate and slate roof. 2 storeys.North-west wall faces road and is of
6 bays. The ground-floor windows are of one light and plain chamfered. The

wide door opening with plain reveals and timber lintel. Between bays 3 & 4
there is a re-set stone on the 1st floor'AD 1590 RB AB'. This is probably a
keystone from a joggled fireplace arch. The south-east wall has chamfered
door surrounds with triangular heads in every bay except No.3. That to

reveals. A similar doorway has also been inserted to the right of the
original one in bay one. There are 10 one-light chamfered windows on the
ground floor. On the 1st floor bays 1-3 have 2-light chamfered mullioned
windows with hood moulds. Bays 4-6 have similar windows of 3 lights. The
left-hand return wall has a 2-light chamfered mullioned window with hood on
the ground floor and a chamfered door surround with triangular head on the
1st floor, now reached by external concrete steps.

Interior. 1st floor undivided with a variety of roof trusses, which appear
to be original. Some have collars only and some have tie beams and queen
struts, some of the latter having once been closed above the tie.
