House, late C17th and 1719. Scored render with sandstone dressings
and slate roof. 2 storeys. South facade has cross-wing at right-hand
side. This has strips of chamfered rustication at its outer sides,
continued on the left-hand return wall. The main range has 2 bays to
the left of the door which have windows with outer chamfer, inner hollow
chamfer, hoods, and 2 mullions each remaining. Those in the 1st floor
have glazing bars and a central horizontal sliding sash. To the right
of the door the windows have an outer cyma moulding and inner chamfer,
the one on the ground floor having a surround only remaining, that above
being a cross window. The 2 bays of the cross-wing have windows similar
to the latter. The door has a moulded surround with shaped lintel.

Above is a plaque: 'L L . 1719' Plaque and lintel are enclosed by
a hood with spiral stops. Chimneys on left-hand gable, to the left of
the door, and on the right-hand return wall of the cross-wing. At the
rear is a later parallel range having windows with plain stone surrounds
and glazing bars. Inside is an open-well closed-string stair having moulded
square newels with balls, and turned balusters. Other features may
exist beneath later casing.
