House, late C18th. Squared sandstone with slate roof. 2 storeys,
2 bays, with chamfered quoins. Windows sashed with glazing bars,
with architraves. Door, between bays, flanked by Tuscan pilasters,
with moulded semi-circular head with large stepped keystone, and with
fanlight with intersecting glazing bars. Above is a moulded pediment
on thin console brackets. Chimney on right-hand gable and to left of
left-hand bay. To the left of this bay the wall is blank, suggesting
that this part of the house may have been a farm building. At the
rear is a stair window with plain stone surround and glazing bars,
and a re-set 3-light double-chamfered mullioned window.
