Eleven town houses of different builds forming a continuous row, after
1850; now mostly offices. Red brick in Flemish bond, stone dressings,
slate roofs with chimneys in front and behind the ridge. All double
pile with rear extensions, most single-fronted. All 2 storeys; stone
band, moulded stone gutter cornices. Nos. 3 to 25 have Doric pilastered
doorcases with entablature crossed by a straight moulded cornice, and
2 garlands on the frieze; coupled doorways at 19/21 and 23/25; others
have moulded jambs and a straight cornice on scrolled brackets. No.17
has a low lobby door beside the front door, and there are segmental-
headed wagon arches at No. 3. and between Nos. 9 and 11. Formerly sashed
windows mostly altered, all with stone sills and splayed stone heads:
mostly one at ground floor, and mostly with 3 1st floor windows to a
pair of houses, though No.25 has 2 at ground floor and 3 above.
