Two gate piers. Perhaps late C17. Dressed stone. Square in section and
c.3 metres high. Massive, decorated in Renaissance style: panelled
pedestals with moulded feet and tops, panelled pillars with moulded
cornices, fluted friezes, and egg-and-dart bands beneath very prominent
moulded caps, which bear 2-stage moulded pedestals to former finials; parts
damaged or missing.
