House. Dated 1822 on rainwater heads. Coursed squared stonestone on
plinth of dressed blocks, low-pitched pyramidal slate roof with central
chimney stack. Rectangular 4-room plan, with rear service wing. Two
storeys, symmetrical, in simple classical style; 3-bay entrance front on
north side, the ground floor mostly covered by a projected wall with a
cornice and plain parapet which carry round a prominent Tuscan porch
supported by a column at all 4 corners, the back pair set in to an entrance
front which is recessed and has a round-headed doorway with radiating
glazing bars in the fanlight and a keystone; one sashed window to the right
of this feature and 3 above it, all round-headed in plain architraves with
keystones, that in the centre of the 1st floor with glazing bars
intersecting in the head. Left return wall has 2 similar but larger
windows on each floor, all sashed with glazing bars making intersecting
tracery in the heads; right return wall has modern porch and square window
at ground floor, 2 round-headed sashed windows at 1st floor (one 4-paned,
other with similar tracery); rear wing has plain doorway and large 12-pane
window at ground floor, a traceried round-headed window above, and a gable
chimney. Interior not inspected.
