Cottage. Dated 1778 on lintel; altered. Handmade brick with stone
dressings, slate roof. Shallow double-depth 2-bay plan. Two low storeys,
symmetrical; central board door with very large rectangular stone lintel
inscribed:

two 2-light sliding sashes on each floor, those at ground floor with lintels like that over the door. Right-hand gable has slightly-projecting chimney stack, a 2-light sliding sash at ground floor to the rear of this. Interior not inspected. Listed as good example of its type and date.
