range only)

Barn, now part of shop. Probably C17; altered. Cruck frame, clad with
brick walls on west side and north end, (various additions to east and
south). Exterior now of less interest than interior, which contains 2 full
cruck trusses of light scantling, with tie-beams, yokes, dorsals, carrying
one pair of trenched purlins with slender windbraces above and below; at
the apex of each truss the blades do not touch, but are linked by the yoke,
the tips of the blades clasping the diagonally-set ridge tree. (North
truss altered by replacement of tie beam and re-location of a collar
bolted to the north face of the blades).
