House. C17, altered and extended probably late C18. Sandstone rubble with
slate roof. 2 storeys. South front has 2 cross-wings. The left-hand one
projects further forwards and appears to be earlier. It is of one bay and
has rebated and chamfered mullioned windows with hoods, of 3 lights on
the ground floor and 2 above; some mullions have been removed. The
recessed centre shows evidence of rebuilding. It is of 2 bays and has 3-
light rebated and chamfered mullioned windows on the ground floor and
reconstructed mullioned windows of 2 lights on the 1st floor. Between
bays is a door with plain reveals. The right-hand wing is of one bay and
has windows with plain reveals. Projecting stacks to outsides of wings.
Chimney to right of door. A former stair turret projects from the left-
hand wall of the left-hand wing.
