Range of 5 cottages. Centre tablet reads HARTLEY/AD1823. Stone with stone slate
roof, stone coping, kneelers and gutter corbels. 2 storeys and 3 storeys at
rear. windows to each cottage, originally sashes, with doorway below right-
hand one. Now all modern casements. Flush surrounds to all openings. 2 cast
iron rainwater pipes with shaped heads remain on front elevation, 2 at rear.
