House,now garage, of C18 origin, with gable end to street, with C19 wing along
street. Gable end to street of coursed rubble with rebuilt ashlar stack. Ashlar
wing behind of one storey, with two 2-light windows with cills and cambered heads,
then remains of painted lettering reading "CLOSE HARNESS MAKER", then moulded band,
cornice and blocking course. South front has been much altered but retains one 1st
floor 16-pane sash window with double keystone and cill, and a similar head to
ground floor window below. Included for group value.
